3 Books That Will Change Your Life And How You View the World
📚 add these to your reading list today
I’m going to keep today short and sweet.
Not because I don’t have more to say…
But because I’ve got family in town and want to spend more time having fun with them and less time writing 🤣
So, here are 3 books that changed my life and how I view the world.
I hope they can do the same for you.
Why Zebras Don’t Get Ulcers (link)
I’ve had a man crush on Dr. Robert Sapolsky for some time now. He’s a truly exceptional science writer and his contribution to our understanding of stress and human behavior is unrivaled.
This book takes you on a journey to better understand the impact chronic stress has on your health through a compelling blend of scientific expertise and engaging storytelling.
In a world that continues to ramp up the stress, this is your handbook to understanding WHY it’s important you stop running from a damn lion all the time.
The Almanack of Naval Ravikant (link)
A refreshing take on building wealth and happiness from someone that isn’t trying to sell you anything, and the book I have gifted the most.
Naval spits raw, unfiltered, and principle-based truth that I haven’t found anywhere else.
I re-read this 1-2x per year.
The Incerto Series by Nassim Taleb
I’m cheating a bit with this one because I’m listing his entire collection of Black Swan, Antifragile, Fooled by Randomness, and Skin in the Game.
Great insight into uncertainty, randomness, disorder, and building antifragile systems.
Not the easiest reads but you’ll be much smarter for it.
BONUS - The Simple Path to Wealth (link)
I really enjoyed this personal finance book from JL Collins.
It’s ruthlessly simple, to the point, and paves the path for you to achieve financial independence.
Pro tip - pair this with I Will Teach You To Be Rich and Die With Zero to have the complete personal finance stack. You can read other books but you won’t need them if you have these 3.
