I have to admit, the $ 84600 analogy does not work for me; I would only spend as much as needed (apart from a few financial investions for safety and buying a house), as I know that the next day will come + I don't need that much money for my happyness.
Wow, it's really difficult to prioritize those. I feel like I cannot place some over others because they are dependant on one another, they go hand in hand.
Thanks for commenting, Zac! There's definitely some overlap between the different life areas - much like overlapping circles in a big venn diagram. And the exercise is intentionally meant to be challenging. It won't be easy to decide what's #1 vs. #3 but that's where much of the value of this exercise comes from.
Speaking from my own experience - by doing the work to create your priority list right now it'll make decision making much easier moving forward -> what projects to focus on, how to spend your time, who to spend your time with etc.
In other words - how can you make decisions between different options if you don't know what the priorities are in this season of your life?

Apart from that, great article, as usual.
Thanks, Peter! You are obviously welcome to spend that $84,600 however you choose 😉
